Fulton-Montgomery Women’s Basketball Defeats Hudson Valley

Freshman forward Danielle Colbath (Corinth/Corinth High School) poured in 27 points to lead the Fulton-Montgomery Community College (17-6) women’s basketball team to a 77-50 win over Hudson Valley Community College (8-18) earlier tonight in Troy.

Fulton-Montgomery went on a 21-3 run to start the second half that stretched a 41-29 halftime advantage to an insurmountable 62-32 lead. Sophomore forward Nicole Mathews (Brooklyn/Brandeis High School) added 12 points for the Raiders.

Freshman forward Kelley Barnes (Rotterdam/Mohonasen High School) led Hudson Valley with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Kristene Longendyke (Kingston/Kingston High School) added 10 points.
