Hudson Valley Women's Basketball Defeats Adirondack

Sophomores Kate Collins (Eagle Mills/Tamarac High School) and Elizabeth Ferenczy (Coxsackie/Coxsackie-Athens High School) each posted double-doubles in leading the Hudson Valley Community College (9-14) women's basketball team to a 59-44 win over Adirondack Community College
(3-21) earlier tonight in Troy.
Playing in their final home game, Collins finished with 18 points and 20 rebounds and Ferenczy had 11 points and 16 boards for Hudson Valley, which finished the game with a 59-30 rebounding advantage. Sophomore Amanda Carroll (Cohoes/Tamarac High School) added 13 points and five assists.
Sophomore Laura Dermont (Schuylerville High School) led Adirondack with 20 points.
Hudson Valley will close the season with a five-game road swing beginning Saturday, February 12 at Mohawk Valley Community College.
