Hudson Valley Men's Soccer Defeats Cobleskill

The Hudson Valley Community College (3-2) men's soccer team, ranked 11th in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III poll, scored three second half goals in a 4-2 win over SUNY Cobleskill (3-4) earlier today in Troy.
Freshman Robert DiFiore (Wynantskill/Averill Park High School) headed in a corner kick from sophomore Rafael Luna (Albany/Albany High School) to give Hudson Valley a 2-1 lead with 36:27 left in the game.
Luna stretched Hudson Valley's lead to 3-1 six minutes later when he took a throw-in from freshman Mike Vooris (Castleton/Maple Hill High School), dribbled it past a pair of defenders, and pushed it past the Cobleskill keeper.
Also scoring goals for Hudson Valley were sophomore Dan Farrell (Stillwater/Stillwater High School) and freshman Ryan Clair (Schenectady/Schenectady High School).
Cobleskill got goals from freshmen William Edsell (St. James/Smithtown High School) and Thomas Finn (Molden Bridge/New Lebanon High School).
Hudson Valley will return to action on Saturday, September 20 against Clinton Community College. The game begins at 11 a.m.
