Hudson Valley Men's Basketball Rolls Past Onondaga

The Hudson Valley Community College (7-7) men's basketball team got points from all 11 players on its roster in an 87-56 win over Onondaga Community College (7-5) earlier tonight in Troy.
Hudson Valley held a 47-26 rebounding advantage over the Lazers and only committed 11 turnovers while forcing Onondaga to cough it up 20 times.
Freshman forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) led Hudson Valley with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore forward Maurice Frye (Middletown/Middletown High School) had 14 points, nine rebounds and four steals. The Hudson Valley backcourt of sophomore Aric Kucel (Gloversville/Gloversville High School) and Marlon Sousis (Rensselaer/Rensselaer High School) added 10 points apiece. Kucel also had eight boards and four assists.
Onondaga, which entered the game riding a five-game winning streak, was led by Dan Marsella's (Liverpool/Liverpool High School) 16 points.
Hudson Valley will visit Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Saturday, January 15. The game is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
