Men's Basketball Falls in Region III Tournament

The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team had its season come to a close with a 71-65 loss to Tompkins Cortland Community College (15-12) in the opening round of the Region III tournament.
Hudson Valley finished the year with a 15-13 record. It is the 14th straight winning season for the Vikings.
Freshman guard Aric Kucel (Gloversville/Gloversville High School) had 17 points to lead Hudson Valley. Sophomore forward Bill Heslin (Schaghticoke/Hoosic Valley High School) added 14 points and sophomore guard Antwan Gibson (Troy/Troy High School) contributed 12 points.
