Lacrosse Ends Losing Streak At Finger Lakes

The Hudson Valley Community College lacrosse team (2-5) ended a four-game losing streak on the road against Finger Lakes Community College on Wednesday, April 7, 15-5. The once nationally ranked Vikings started the season with a murderous schedule playing three top-ten nationally ranked teams within their first six games.

The Vikings made a balanced scoring attack led by Rich Bamberger (St. John's, Brimfield, MA) with four goals and two assists. Bamberger was accompanied by Casey Balzer (Columbia, Schodack) and James Bryant (White Plains, White Plains) who each had three goals. Balzer also assisted on two goals. Troy Martin (Werribee Secondary, Melbourne, AUS) added two goals and an assist.

The Vikings travel to SUNY Delhi on Friday, April 9.
