The Hudson Valley Community College football team (0-4) was defeated by Dean College, 23-3, on Saturday, Sept. 25.

The Vikings went down, 13-0, in the first half before they were able to put together their best drive of the day, resulting in a field goal before the half expired. Defensively, the Vikings created opportunities as they intercepted four Bull Dog passes in the contest. The Vikings offense had troubles of their own, turning the ball over three times leading to the loss.

Hudson Valley's Julius Williams (Nottingham/ Syracuse) had a career day with three interceptions out of the safety position.

The Vikings play their second home game of the season on Saturday, Oct.2 when they take on Erie Community College.
