Former Hudson Valley Standout to Play in Fiesta Bowl

Former Hudson Valley Community College linebacker Keith Hill will be a part of the Bowl Championship Series when his University of Pittsburgh Panthers face the University of Utah Utes in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 1.

Hill, a senior defensive lineman with the Panthers, has played in all 11 games this year. He has recorded 11 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception. He wears uniform number 95.

He had 70 tackles and was an All-Northeast Football Conference performer for Hudson Valley in 2000.

Hill is one of 19 former Hudson Valley football players on NCAA Division I-A and Division I-AA rosters in 2004.

Joining Hill as former Vikings on Division I-A rosters are: offensive lineman Leroy Auguste, University of Buffalo; linebacker John Howell, New Mexico State University; wide receiver Buchie Ibeh, Temple University; defensive back Ross Jackson, East Carolina University; and tight end Anthony Martinez, Temple.

Former Hudson Valley players on Division I-AA rosters are: defensive back Eric Brooks, Savannah State University; defensive back Francis Brown, Western Carolina University; running back Sanoussi Diaby, University at Albany; defensive end Frantzy Dorlean, Tennessee State University; defensive tackle Ernest Jones, Tennessee State; defensive lineman Broderick Johnson, Norfolk State University; offensive lineman Alex Monteleone, Iona College; tight end J.J. Nesheiwat, Western Carolina; linebacker Mike Saint Fleur, Albany; offensive lineman Severino Sangro, Western Illinois University; tight end B.J. Tench, Delaware State University; linebacker Jeremiah Virden, Savannah State; and offensive lineman Morgan Vittengl, University of Massachusetts.
