Men's Bowling Finishes Second at Adirondack Invitational; Women Finish Fourth

The Hudson Valley Community College men’s bowling team finished second and the women finished fourth at the Adirondack Invitational on Wednesday evening.
Michael Hartmann (Coxsackie-Athens/Earlton) overcame an opening 171 to finish with 258-258 for a 687 series, and Brendon O’Donnell (Averill Park/Poestenkill) posted scores of 224-236-224 for a 684. The Vikings also got great contributions from Michael Kincy (Oak Harbor/Oak Harbor, WA) with a 236-652, Craig Wojtaszek (Averill Park/Averill Park) with a 216-645, and Dean Smith (Mechanicville/Waterford) with a 247-644.
On the women’s side, Megan Rzeszuto (Colonie/Schenectady) led the Vikings with a 180-182-188 for a 550 series, and Elizabeth Pratt (Lansingburgh/Troy) posted a 205-540.
The men’s and women’s bowling teams travel to Utica on Friday for the Mohawk Invitational beginning at 3 p.m.
