Hudson Valley Softball Ranked Fourth, Baseball Ranked Eighth in Latest Poll

The Hudson Valley Community College softball team is ranked fourth in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III poll that was released earlier today. The baseball team is ranked No. 8 in the NJCAA Division III poll.

Hudson Valley joins Dutchess Community College, Dawson College (MT), and Gloucester Community College (NJ) as the only colleges to be ranked in both polls.

The softball team is 14-6-1 and has won 11 of its last 12 games. The Lady Vikings will host SUNY Delhi at noon on Saturday April 17.

Hudson Valley's baseball team is off to a 17-7 start. The Vikings have won six of their last seven games, and have a .332 team batting average. Hudson Valley will host Schenectady County Community College at 4 p.m. this afternoon, and will host SUNY Cobleskill at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 16.
