Bob's Bio:
Throughout his exciting EMS career, spanning three decades, Bob has worked as a Paramedic and EMT in municipal, volunteer and the private sectors. He continues to be an advocate of quality EMS education at the State and National levels.
Currently, Bob is a Clinical Instructor with Albany Medical Center. He is responsible for teaching in the EMT-Basic and Paramedic courses at Hudson Valley Community College’s Department of Cardio-Respiratory & Emergency Medicine. Bob is also a Professor of Management with the Andrew Jackson University which is a distance learning college in Alabama. He works as a Paramedic in the town where he resides as well as the Times Union Center. He is also a member of the Regional Faculty for the NYS EMS Bureau as well as National Faculty for the American Heart Association. He enjoys developing materials to help students better understand patient’s needs and conditions.

Bob served as the HVCC Institute of Prehospital Emergency Medicine’s Program Director and was responsible for providing leadership during the expansion and initial accreditation of the paramedic program as well as the development of the AAS: EMT-P degree. He has served as a paramedic and lieutenant for NYC EMS, Associate Director for NYS EMS, Education Coordinator for PULSE: Emergency Medical Update, Evaluation Coordinator for REMO, and a firefighter-paramedic in Colonie.
Bob is an advocate for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care as well as health and fitness. He is a member of the AHA statewide ECC committee as well as the Capital District Affiliate Board. Bob’s graduate degree is a Master's in Public Administration from State University of NY at Albany.
