This is a site created for the 3rd project in Hudson Valley's Web Art and Design course. In it, I have selected 2 poets who are known for their "visual" or "concrete" style of poetry. I chose Shel Silverstein because I have fond memories of reading his books as a child with my sister. She was also very fond of his poems, and came to own many of his books over her lifetime, and she still owns them to this day. His poems will always have a special place in my heart.
I was unaware of George Herbert before this project but I found the layout of his poems very interesting and wanted to include them for their visual elements in this project.
