Gallery exhibitions are supported by the Department of Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Digital Media, with assistance from the Office of Cultural Affairs. All exhibitions are installed and assisted by students in Gallery Management classes.
The mission of the Teaching Gallery is to stimulate the creation and understanding of contemporary art for the benefit of Hudson Valley Community College and the larger community.
Exhibition Opportunities and Submission Guidelines
Individual professional artists are welcome to submit work for inclusion in future exhibitions.
Please send a letter of interest, resume, and either a link to a personal website or five .jpg images and corresponding image list to email@example.com. Include "gallery submission" in the email subject line.
The Teaching Gallery does not accept submissions by mail; please do not send slides, CD-ROM discs, hard copies or other media unless invited.
Artist submissions are reviewed on an ongoing basis. We will do our best to reply in a timely manner. If we are interested in working with an artist, we will contact the artist directly to request any additional information.
