FOR RELEASE: Immediate, Monday, April 3, 2017
Hudson Valley Community College is offering a free, hands-on workshop on higher education financial aid at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, in meeting rooms 1 and 2 of the college’s Bulmer Telecommunications Center.
The workshop is designed to help families understand their financial aid eligibility and how to apply for federal/state aid and scholarships. Financial aid staff will be able to answer questions and help attendees file their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. All families interested in learning about financial aid are welcome, not just those with students considering Hudson Valley Community College.
During the second hour of these sessions, you will have an opportunity to file your financial aid application online. Please make sure to bring your most recent tax returns and other financial information with you.
You can pre-register for this event here. If you are unable to attend the workshop in person, a live Web cast will be streamed from this page during the event.
Please contact the Mastrangelo Financial Aid Center at (518) 629-7150 or firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or for more information.
