Hudson Valley Community College to Host Instant Admission Day on Jan. 18

Hudson Valley Community College will host an “Instant Admission Day,” Saturday, Jan. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Prospective students can meet with admissions and financial aid counselors and be admitted to the college on the spot. Students may be admitted for the Spring 2014 or Fall 2014 terms.
The Instant Admission Day will be in the college’s Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 223, on the Troy campus.
The college will waive its $30 application fee for those who apply on any Instant Admission Day. The Spring 2014 term begins Tuesday, Jan. 21.
The college also extends a special invitation to military service veterans and their families as well as volunteer firefighters who are eligible for FASNY HELP tuition reimbursement at all 30 SUNY community colleges.
Interested students should bring their academic records. Students wishing to begin the financial aid process should bring their most recent tax returns as well. For more information about Instant Admission Day, please call the Admissions office at (518) 629-7309.
