Cropseyville Student Tiffany Duval Honored by Hudson Valley Community College \"Photo

Tiffany Duval

Tiffany Duval of Cropseyville, NY, a 2008 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College's Mortuary Science program, was honored by the college with a departmental award.

Duval received the Mortuary Science Department Award for Leadership and Professionalism, which is given to an outstanding graduate of the Mortuary Science program. A President\'s List student, Duval also served as vice president of the Mortuary Science Club and plans to attend SUNY Albany to study human biology and education.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate's degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and also sponsors an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 12,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has more than 60,000 alumni.
