Hudson Valley Community College Announces Holiday Hours for Public Ice Skating

Hudson Valley Community College will extend its hours for public skating in the Robert M. Conway Ice Arena over the college’s holiday break.

The skating rink will be open from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26 through Friday, Dec. 28. The rink will also be open from 4 to 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, Sunday, Dec. 23, Saturday, Dec. 29 and Sunday, Dec. 30.

Due to the holidays, the skating rink will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, Tuesday, Dec. 25, Monday, Dec. 31 and Tuesday, Jan. 1.

Normal skating hours, noon to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 4 to 6:15 p.m. on weekends, will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Admission to the skating rink is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors or anyone age 17 and under, and free for current Hudson Valley students. Discounted group rates for 10 or more people are available. Skate rentals are $3. Helmet rentals are $1. Skate sharpening is $4 per pair.
