Hudson Valley Community College Now Accepting Applications for Spring 2008 Scholarships

Hudson Valley Community College is currently accepting applications for Spring 2008 scholarships. Interested Hudson Valley students must submit application packets by Friday, Oct. 12 to qualify.
Hudson Valley Community College and the college Foundation award more than $100,000 in scholarships to Hudson Valley students each year through more than 100 scholarship opportunities for new and returning students.
Interested students must submit a completed financial aid application packet to the Mastrangelo Financial Aid Center, GUN 110, by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 to be eligible. Application packets which detail the different scholarship opportunities available to Hudson Valley students are available in the Financial Aid Center or online at www.hvcc.edu/scholarships.

The Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable corporation formed in 1983 to philanthropically support the college’s mission. Gifts to the Foundation from alumni, corporations and friends are used to enhance programs, facilities and scholarship opportunities at the college.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate’s degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and workforce and academic preparation programs offered through the Educational Opportunity Center.
