Troy Student Jessica Bradshaw Honored by Hudson Valley Community College \"Photo

Jessica Bradshaw of Troy, a 2007 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College’s Liberal Arts and Science: Humanties and Social Science program, was recently honored by the college.

Bradshaw received the The Donna Costello Memorial Scholarship Award for Excellence in Psychology. The award is given to an outstanding graduate in the field of psychology. Bradshaw hopes to continue her study at Russell Sage College. She was a high honor student while at Hudson Valley.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate’s degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and also sponsors an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 12,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has more than 60,000 alumni.
