Capital District Educational Opportunity Center Holds Registration for Day and Evening Classes

The Capital District Educational Opportunity Center will hold registration for its day and evening classes every Monday at 8:30 a.m. at its facility at 30 Russell Road, Albany and every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at its facility at 145 Congress Street, Troy.
The Center offers a wide array of vocational programs including building trades, welding, cosmetology, culinary arts, nursing assistance and a number of general and medical business and office technology programs. Academic programs are also available including Adult Basic Education Through College Preparation, GED Preparation and English as a Second Language.

Since 1966, the Capital District EOC, a division of Hudson Valley Community College, has offered tuition-free academic and workforce development opportunities to economically disadvantaged and educationally under-prepared New York State residents.
