Free Ice Skating Marks Seasonal Opening of Hudson Valley Community College Ice Rink This Month

It’s time to take those ice skates out of storage. Hudson Valley Community College will open the Robert M. Conway Ice Arena this month and celebrate the new season with free public skating, from 4 to 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday, Oct. 22.
After the opening weekend, public skating hours will continue from 4 to 6:15 p.m. on weekends and noon to 2 p.m. on weekdays. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for anyone age 17 and under, $2 for senior citizens, and free for current Hudson Valley students. Discounted group rates for 10 or more people are also available. Skate rentals are $3. Helmet rentals are $1. Skate sharpening is $4 per pair.
