Meredith Allen - Photographs.Selected photographs from the Brooklyn photographer's "Melting Ice Pops 1999-2004" and "Kiddie Rides (Color) 1998-2002" collections on exhibit in Hudson Valley Community College's Teaching Gallery. Exhibit runs through Saturday, Nov. 5. The library gallery is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. Hotel Rwanda (2004) (Please note date change from Oct. 31) -The true-life story of Paul Rusesabagina, a hotel manager who housed more than 1,000 Tutsis refugees during their struggle against the Hutu militia in Rwanda.
