Heiser Appointed Assistant Director for Graphic Design and Printing Services at Hudson Valley Community College

John Heiser of Albany has been appointed as assistant director for graphic design and printing services at Hudson Valley Community College. He will oversee graphic design, photography and printing services at the college.

Heiser previously worked at Michael William Printery in the Capital Region as a graphic designer and digital prepress operator. Prior to that, he worked at Ad-Ventures Design Studio in San Antonio, where he served as art director for three years. Originally from upstate New York, Heiser relocated to the Capital Region in 1999.

Heiser has a bachelor's degree in advertising from Texas Tech University.

Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 9,000 students each year, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
