FOR RELEASE: Immediate, Wednesday, February 26, 2003
The Brits, one of the area's premier Beatles cover band, will perform in Hudson Valley Community College's Siek Campus Center on Tuesday, March 4 at noon. The performance is part of 1964 Beatles Day at Hudson Valley.
At 6 p.m., Hudson Valley will show the film \"A Hard Day's Night\" in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre. One of the finest rock ‘n' roll films of all time, \"A Hard Day's Night\" is an exhilarating, frequently hilarious study of a \"typical\" 36 hours in the lives of the Beatles. Admission to both events is free.
The 1964 Beatles Day is one of several events Hudson Valley has planned to celebrate its 50th anniversary. For more information on the college's 50th anniversary celebration, log on to www.hvcc.edu/50.
