Delmar Resident Jacob Zaccagnino Honored At Hudson Valley Community College

\"ImageJacob Zaccagnino of Delmar, a 2002 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College's Electrical Construction & Maintenance program, recently was honored by the college's Electrical Construction & Maintenace Club.

Zaccagnino received the Electrical Construction & Maintenance Club's Award for Academic Excellence.

Zaccagnino, a President's List student who plans to return to Hudson Valley and enroll in the college's Heating/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Technical Services program, currently works full-time as a locomotive engineer for CSXT.

Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 10,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
