Calling All Capital Region Employers; Job Fair And Transfer Day 2002

On April 9, Hudson Valley Community College will
host the Capital Region's largest job fair. "Job Fair and Transfer Day 2002"
will take place in the college's McDonough Sports Complex from 10 a.m. to 3:30
Hudson Valley is currently seeking employers for the
event, which is open to all Hudson Valley students and alumni, as well as
students and alumni from the Capital Region's other colleges and universities.
Last year, nearly 1,000 job seekers participated, visiting representatives from
183 employers. Top transfer schools also are represented.
Job Fair and Transfer Day provides employers an
opportunity to recruit the highly trained and skilled students and graduates of
Hudson Valley for full-time and part-time employment, as well as cooperative
education and summer employment opportunities. In addition to on-campus
recruiting, Job Fair and Transfer Day employers will have access to Hudson
Valley's online job bank, where thousands of students and alumni can view job
The cost is $75 per employer, and employers must
register by March 8 to be listed in a Job Fair and Transfer Day directory.
