What: The 2014 Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges ceremony will honor 72 students from Hudson Valley Community College selected as outstanding campus leaders. They join an elite group of students from more than 1,000 institutions of higher learning across the country.
Why: Students are nominated by faculty and staff members for academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

Details: Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges is one of the most highly regarded and long-standing honors programs in the nation. For students, national recognition in the Who’s Who program marks a pinnacle of scholastic achievement.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers 75 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 13,000 students and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has more than 75,000 alumni.
