Hudson Valley Community College Hosts Celebration Lunch to Thank Campus Community for Successful Presidential Visit

In celebration of President Obama’s visit to campus this week, President Andrew Matonak has invited the entire Hudson Valley Community College campus (students, faculty and staff) to lunch at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. During the lunch the President’s speech from Monday’s visit will be played on the scoreboard video panel.

Friday, Sept. 25, 2009
11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Campus invited to stop by anytime during this time.
Noon – President Matonak will thank campus community.

On Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 President Obama made a historic visit to HudsonValley Community College to deliver a talk on the importance of community colleges to economic recovery. He was accompanied by Dr. Jill Biden, the wife of the Vice President. Dr. Biden who is a faculty member at a D.C.-area community college.
