Hudson Valley Community College Holds 11th Annual Viking Challenge in Trivial Pursuit
A record 18 area high schools to compete for scholarships and prizes

WHO: Academic teams from 18 area high schools.
WHAT: Teams will compete in the 11th Annual Viking Challenge, a trivia game based on the popular Trivial Pursuit board game.

5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2007.

Each participating high school will field a team of three students, taking turns answering trivia questions in a timed format. Each member of the first place team will receive a $500 scholarship to Hudson Valley Community College, a computer and printer for their school and other prizes.

Participating schools include: Academy of the Holy Names, Berlin High School, Bethlehem High School, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, Clayton A. Bouton (Voorheesville) High School, Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, Hoosick Falls High School, Lansingburgh High School, La Salle Institute, New Lebanon High School, North Warren High School, Rensselaer High School, Schuylerville High School, Scotia-Glenville High School, Shenendehowa High School, South Colonie High School, Tamarac High School, Troy High School and Watervliet High School.
