Kids Making the Transition to Kindergarten is Subject of Conference at Hudson Valley

||Approximately 70 preschool and kindergarten teachers from around the Capital Region.
||The Kindergarten Preschool Consortium brings together early childhood educators to discuss strategies that help youngsters transition from preschool to Kindergarten. Catherine Compton-Lilly, an author and assistant professor of literacy at the University of Wisconsin, will be the featured presenter.

As academic expectations have risen for pupils entering kindergarten, so has the need for increased communication between schools. This annual conference brings together educators to talk about the subject and discuss best practices.
