Students With Disabilities Demonstrate Assistive Technology at Hudson Valley Community College

WHO: Hudson Valley Community College students with disabilities and DeAnne Martocci, associate director of the college’s Disability Resource Center.
WHAT: The Disability Resource Center will hold an open house in its new computer lab, where students and staff will demonstrate state-of-the-art technology that helps students with disabilities earn a college education.

In support of October being Disability Awareness Month, Hudson Valley students and staff at the Disability Resource Center will demonstrate how new computer programs and equipment are helping students reach their educational objectives. The Disability Resource Center moved into new offices this semester – more than double the size of its old offices – offering students with disabilities better access to equipment, staff and services.
