Children and Mental Health Is the Topic at Hudson Valley Community College Conference

Where can parents turn when their child begins displaying emotional or behavioral problems?

WHO: Parents, teachers, medical doctors and human service professionals will gather at Hudson Valley Community College to discuss early intervention strategies for children with emotional, behavioral and developmental problems.
WHAT: "Children and Mental Health: The Importance of Early Intervention" will bring together professionals from throughout the Capital Region. Keynote speakers include developmental pediatrician Anthony Mallone, M.D., and child psychiatrist Jeffrey Daly, M.D. The conference is presented by the Southern Rural Albany County School and Human Services Partnership. Conference co-sponsors include Four Winds Hospital, Parsons Child and Family Center, Capital Region BOCES, the University at Albany School of Social Welfare and Hudson Valley Community College\'s Department of Teacher Preparation and Department of Human Services.
WHEN: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, April 2.
