Women's Soccer Defeats Columbia-Greene

The Hudson Valley Community College (8-6-1) women's soccer team exploded for seven goals in the first half and held on to defeat Columbia-Greene Community College, 7-4, on Thursday in Hudson.

Sophomore Liz O'Brien (Lansingburgh/Lansingburgh High School) scored four goals and two assists to lead Hudson Valley. Freshman Dana Porcello (Waterford/Waterford-Halfmoon High School) finished with three goals and one assist.

Hudson Valley will find out its postseason fate when Region III Tournament pairings are announced on Sunday, October 24.
