The Hudson Valley Community College (9-6) women's soccer team has earned the 10th seed in the upcoming NJCAA Region III Division III tournament. Hudson Valley will travel to seventh seeded SUNY Morrisville (10-6-1) for a first round game on Saturday, October 18. Kick off is scheduled for noon.

Hudson Valley's nine wins this year are the most for the team since the Lady Vikings went 12-7 in 1993.

Sophomore Elizabeth O'Brien (Troy/Lansingburgh High School) leads Hudson Valley with 20 goals and 10 assists thus far this season. She has scored more goals than any Hudson Valley women's soccer player since Kris Bowles netted a school-record 28 goals in 1992. Freshman Angela Cazzato (East Greenbush/Columbia High School) has contributed 10 goals and six assists.

In their lone meeting this season, Morrisville defeated Hudson Valley, 4-3, on September 17.
