Hudson Valley Women's Basketball Defeats Tompkins Cortland

Sophomore forward Kristene Longendyke (Kingston/Kingston High School) hit four three-point baskets en route to a game-high 20 points in leading the Hudson Valley Community College (5-14) women's basketball to a 60-33 win over Tompkins Cortland Community College (1-15) earlier today in Troy.
Sophomore forward Colleen Horan (Rotterdam/Mohonasen High School) filled up the box score for the Vikings, finishing with 16 points, 13 rebounds, six steals, five assists and four blocks. Freshman Kelley Barnes (Rotterdam/Mohonasen High School) added 12 points and seven boards.
The Panthers, who shot only 20.7 percent (12-for-58) from the floor, were led by freshman forward Barbara Naylor's (Dundee/Dundee High School) 13 points.
Hudson Valley will visit SUNY Cobleskill at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24.
