Hudson Valley Women's Basketball Loses to Fulton-Montgomery

Sophomore forward Qunika Davis (Brooklyn/VanArsdale High School) scored with 19 points to lead the Fulton-Montgomery Community College women's basketball team (5-3) to a 75-59 win over Hudson Valley Community College (4-6) earlier tonight in Troy.

Fulton-Montgomery raced out to a 41-25 halftime lead. The Lady Vikings then went on an 11-2 run to start the second half, cutting their deficit to 43-36. However, a pair of three-pointers by sophomore guard Jackie Baptiste (Brooklyn/Canarsie High School) pushed Fulton-Montgomery's lead back to double digits. Baptiste finished the game with 10 points.

Sophomore guard Jocelyn Moy (Greenwich/Greenwich High School) finished with 20 points, eight rebounds and six steals to lead Hudson Valley. Moy has become only the eighth player in the program's history to score more than 700 points in a career. She currently ranks sixth on the college's all-time scoring list with 718 points.

Sophomore forward Elizabeth Ferenczy (Coxsackie/Coxsackie-Athens High School) added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Lady Vikings.

Fulton-Montgomery finished the game with a 46-30 rebounding advantage, including 25 offensive boards.
