Hudson Valley's Jocelyn Moy Honored by NJCAA

Jocelyn Moy (Greenwich/Greenwich High School), a sophomore guard on the Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball team, has been named a 2004-05 Preseason Division III First Team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

As a freshman, Moy led Hudson Valley to a 19-11 record. She averaged 17.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 5.0 steals per game. She scored 518 points last year – the most points scored by a freshman in the program's history. She also set a school-record for steals in a season with 141 thefts.

Moy is averaging 22.3 points and 8.3 rebounds in four games for the Lady Vikings this year. Hudson Valley is off to a 3-1 start.
