Jocelyn Moy Named NJCAA Player of the Week

Jocelyn Moy (Greenwich/Greenwich High School), a freshman guard on Hudson Valley Community College's women's basketball team, has been named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Player of the Week for the week ending February 7.

Moy led Hudson Valley (15-8) to a 3-0 record last week, averaging 17 points, six assists and seven steals per game.

She had 10 points, nine assists and eight steals against Adirondack Community College on Tuesday, February 3. She also had 19 points, eight rebounds, six assists and seven steals in a win over Morrisville State College on Thursday, February 5. Finally, Moy recorded a double-double, 22 points and 11 rebounds, against Tompkins Cortland Community College to close out the week on Saturday. She also had three assists and six steals in that game.

Moy is leading the team with 17.2 points, 4.1 assists, and five steals per game this season.
