Lady Vikings Defeat Cobleskill 63-33

Freshman guard Jocelyn Moy (Greenwich/Greenwich High School) finished with season-highs 27 points and 10 steals to lead the Hudson Valley Community College (10-8/9-6 Region III) women's basketball team to a 63-33 win over SUNY Cobleskill (9-9/8-9 Region III) in Troy.

Hudson Valley went on a 22-7 run during the first 10 minutes of the second half, stretching a 25-18 halftime lead to 47-25 with 10:24 remaining in the game. Moy had 13 of her points during the run.

Sophomore forward Megan Baldwin (Glenmont/Bethlehem High School) added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Vikings, and sophomore forward Latrice Cowart (Severn, MD/Meade High School) contributed 11 points and 13 boards.

Freshman guard Leslie Martin (Hudson Falls/Hudson Falls High School) led Cobleskill with 19 points.

Hudson Valley will return to action on Thursday, January 29 against Holyoke Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the McDonough Sports Complex.
