Lady Vikings Defeat Adirondack 75-48

Freshman center Latrice Cowart (Severn, MD/Meade High School) finished with 26 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Hudson Valley Community College (18-6) women's basketball team to a 75-48 win over Adirondack Community College on Tuesday.

Sophomore forwards Carolyn Keeler (Cohoes/Cohoes High School) and Angela Von Wergers (Albany/Bishop Gibbons High School) also finished in double-figures scoring for the Lady Vikings. Keeler had 15 points and five steals while Von Wergers contributed 12 points. Sophomore guards Tanya DeLaMater (Troy/Tamarac High School) and Casey Brinkman (Troy/Troy High School) added 10 points apiece.

Hudson Valley will travel to SUNY Delhi on Thursday, February 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
