Lady Vikings Defeat Broome 58-44

Sophomore guard Tanya DeLaMater (Troy/Tamarac High School) finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds four assists and four steals to lead the Hudson Valley Community College (5-3) women's basketball team to a 58-44 win over Broome Community College earlier tonight at the McDonough Sports Complex in Troy.

Hudson Valley sophomore forward Angela Von Wergers (Albany/Bishop Gibbons High School) finished with 17 points and 11 boards while sophomore guard Carolyn Keeler (Cohoes/Cohoes High School) had six points, six rebounds, four assists and five steals.

Marcy Lilley (Marathon/Marathon High School) had 16 points to pace Broome (2-5).

Hudson Valley travels to Herkimer Community College on Saturday, November 23. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
