Volleyball Drops Three Matches at Fulton-Montgomery Invitational

The Hudson Valley Community College volleyball team saw its record drop to 3-5 on the season with three losses at the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Invitational on Saturday.

Hudson Valley suffered 2-0 defeats to Onondaga Community College, 30-24, 21-29, Mohawk Valley Community College, 30-15, 30-18, and Fulton-Montgomery, 30-18, 30-23.

Sophomore Jessalyn Hotaling (Coeymans Hollow/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School) was named to the All-Tournament team. In three matches, she compiled 13 kills, 19 digs and four service aces.

Freshman Colleen Horan (Schenectady/Mohonasen High School) had 16 kills and 25 digs on the day, and freshman Jackie Zugzda (Perth/Broadalbin-Perth High School) added 10 kills and 20 digs.

Hudson Valley will host Fulton-Montgomery at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 23.
