Hudson Valley's Tracy Chesebrough Signs with Saint Rose

Tracy Chesebrough (Duanesburg/Duanesburg High School), a sophomore pitcher on the Hudson Valley Community College softball team, signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at The College of Saint Rose beginning the 2007-08 school year.

Chesebrough was named the Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2006 after posting a 22-6 record with a 1.20 earned run average. She ranked second in the nation among NJCAA Division III pitchers with 298 strikeouts in 186 innings of work. She also hit .333 (32-for-96) with 25 RBI at the plate.

Hudson Valley finished the 2006 campaign with a 30-10 record and will open the 2007 season at Cumberland Community College on Saturday, March 10.
