Hudson Valley Men's Soccer Falls to Mohawk Valley

The Hudson Valley Community College (7-5) men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 setback to Mohawk Valley Community College (9-4-1) earlier today in Troy.

Wildy Joseph (Utica) scored the game-winning goal for Mohawk Valley with 12:14 remaining in the contest. A long pass from Mark Kinner (Marathon) allowed Joseph to break into the clear and tap it past the goalkeeper.

Chris Cain's (Whitesboro) first-half goal gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead with 26:56 remaining in the half.

Hudson Valley then tied the game on a goal by freshman Corey Terpening (Waterford/Waterford-Halfmoon High School) with 11:19 remaining in the opening half.

Hudson Valley held an 11-8 shots advantage. Tony Thompson (Baldwinsville) stopped four shots to pick up the win in net for Mohawk Valley.
