The Hudson Valley men's basketball team (6-2) picked up its fourth win in a row when they defeated SUNY Delhi (6-6), 50-46, on Thursday, Dec. 3. The Vikings had a slim 27-23 lead at the halftime break. With less than 20 seconds left in a 46-46 tie, Matt Harte (Lansingburgh, Troy) found Steven Hunt (Tamarac, Wynantskill) for an open layup, plus the foul. After the converting the free throw, the Vikings led 49-46 and would go onto close out the contest and collect the win.

Ramel Alexander (Berkshire, Albany) and Hunt managed to score 30 of the Vikings' 50 points. Individually, they recorded 18 and 12 points, respectively. Alexander managed to pull down 14 rebounds from the guard spot and Hunt grabbed another 12 boards.

The men will try to extend their winning streak as they next travel to play Jefferson County Community College on Saturday, Dec. 5.
