Vikings Lose Close One at Jefferson

The Hudson Valley men's basketball (6-3) team had won five games in a row going into its matchup against Jefferson County Community College on Saturday, Dec. 5. Jefferson owned a 40-35 halftime lead and eventually would go up by as many as 12 points in the second half. The Vikings cut the lead to two with under a minute to play and would end up falling to Jefferson, 71-69.

The Vikings were led by Ramel Alexander (Berkshire, Albany) with 19 points. Matt Harte (Lansingburgh, Troy) grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds.

The men will look to get back on track as they go to play RPI's Junior Varsity squad on Monday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
