Men’s Basketball Ranked Second in the Nation

The Hudson Valley Community College men’s basketball team (7-0) is ranked second in the nation in the latest NJCAA poll, released yesterday. On the season, the team is fifth in the country in team defense, giving up only 53 points per game. Offensively, the Vikings have three players averaging double figures, led by Ramel Alexanders (Albany HS/Albany) with 13.4 points per game, Dalton Austin-Michauds (Ichabod Crane/Valatie) with 11.7 points per game, and Pat Barnes (Mohonasen HS/Rotterdam) with 10.4 points per game.
