Men's Basketball Drops Second Straight Game

Mohammed Aminashaun finished with 24 points to lead Broome Community College to a 77-60 win over Hudson Valley Community College in men's basketball action on Thursday.

Sophomore Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks to lead Hudson Valley, which dropped its second straight road game. Sophomore Larry Tape (Syracuse/Cicero-North Syracuse High School) added 11 points and nine boards.

Hudson Valley (7-5) will wrap up the first semester at Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Monday, December 12.

Hudson Valley (60): J.R. Battle 4-1-9, Lee McCarthy 2-0-5, Mike Canape 4-0-8, Allan Dickson 2-0-4, Kevin Goutos 1-2-4, Khylan Hunt 7-4-19, Larry Tape 5-1-11, Totals: 25-8-60.

Broome (77): Jeff Eveillavo 3-6-12, Bryan Williams 2-5-9, Matt Luhrs 8-0-16, Mohammed Aminashaun 10-3-24, Ryan Konnegietar 2-2-6, Will Ponder 5-0-10, Totals: 30-16-77.

Halftime: Broome, 37-25.
