Hudson Valley Women's Basketball Defeats Delhi

The Hudson Valley Community College (2-4) women's basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 64-45 win over SUNY Delhi (1-8) earlier tonight in Troy.
Sophomore guard Kristene Longendyke (Kingston/Kingston High School) paced Hudson Valley with 18 points. Freshman forward Naiyma Reid (Far Rockaway/Far Rockaway High School) added 14 points and freshman guard Felicia Melilli (Poughkeepsie/Poughkeepsie High School) chipped in with 13 points, six steals and seven rebounds.
Sophomore Keneil Rainey (Peekskill/Peekskill High School) led Delhi with 24 points.
Hudson Valley will play in the Adirondack Community College Tournament this Saturday-Sunday, November 25-26.
