Hudson Valley Athletes On Latest Region III Report

Hudson Valley Community College's athletes and teams are represented on the weekly National Junior College Athletic Association Region III athletic report released today. The report includes statistics from more than 30 two-year colleges from across the Northeast.
Hudson Valley's men's and women's basketball teams are both ranked second in the NJCAA Division III coach's poll. Both teams are 3-0.
Offensively, the women's team is ranked third among NJCAA Division III teams, averaging 75.7 points per game. First-year guard/forward Lindsey Bradt (Bishop Maginn) has the best field goal percentage in Division III (66.7). She also has hit 87.1% of her free throw attempts, fourth best.
Hudson Valley's men's basketball team, averaging 70.3 points per game, has the fourth-ranked defense among NJCAA Division III teams.
The Hudson Valley hockey team (3-2) is ranked third on the report.
Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions; Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences.
